Wow, this was great

I don't know if you remember me from the Madness forums but yeah, this is like, Adult Swim material right there- and in a good way of course

Good job there buddy :)

chase of the mothafuckin frankfurter. how could i forget? and thank you.

Hey you

Remember me lolo

But yeah man, you've improved, a lot. EVERY frame was beautifully animated. I like the whole concept of it all in general. Great job. :)

Alpha-Nuva responds:

*jizz* OGM it's DEROSA.

Thanks man. I actually tried to emulate your style in the first scene. Fun fact.

Fantastic

The intro was a little unnecessary, but once the action kicked in, it was pretty damn impressive. All the animators who participated have some really good talent, and even some parts made out a pretty good laugh, like 1Sky's piece. An abundance of credit goes to Delamortes's contribution simply because the animation was some of the sexiest that's ever come from a fan tribute. Altogether though, every author did a great job on their parts. Also, music = awesome.

L3pra responds:

Thanks Derosa : D

Charming

I like it. It's different from traditional Madness, but still brings out the sillyness of it all. The song went along great with the animation, and the art was kept simple and clean. But I have to ask about the part with hotdog guy... You didn't happen to be inspired by my last year's Madness Day submission when you drew him, did you? 'Cause when I first saw him in this one I was like, "Hey, that looks like my hotdog man character in madness day 2007 flash". I don't have a problem with it or anything, just something I noticed :P

Ukinojoe responds:

Oh yeah he's definitely the same hotdog guy! I loved your cartoon with him and I thought he was just so funny looking. I put him in for a silly gag that 5% of people will get and 1% will laugh at.

Slick

There was some really good animation in there. Cool storyline, good artwork, nice sound effects... The only thing that seemed missing was some sort of epic background music- something like that could go well with the animation. Otherwise, great Madness Day flick.

Zwickel responds:

Thanks a lot! I am glad that you liked it!
I may search for some epic music you're right!

Very impressive

I'm really impressed, LLL. I might have thought that there might have been a little too much color for a zombie-genre flash, but wow... the emotion of the characters, the overall style, and superb choreographical action pulled together really well. I can tell you put a lot of effort into this one. Great job, my friend.

LittleLuckyLink responds:

Hey man, means allot from you.
Gave a bit of a tribute to you with the mustard kill.

Hmm.

For one thing, I really liked the voice acting. The graphics, while I'm not too fond of still give off a humorous touch (i.e. Snake's mouth). Apart from that, a portion of the jokes made me chuckle, so I'd say this Flash is pretty good.

Battosai810 responds:

Sorry the art style didn't appeal to you, but glad you liked the voice acting and the humor!
Thanks for reviewing.

Mediocre, but good attempt

Well, it wasn't bad, certainly, but many of the jokes weren't funny and tended to just fall flat in this parody. Although some of the character models were decent, a portion of the other graphics seemed poorly done. The majority of the animation appeared tweened, which can become tedious to see. I don't know, maybe it just depends on one's sense of humor, but I couldn't really get a chuckle out of this one.

Shadowii2 responds:

Yep, as I have stated before, it's about viewer's own taste of humour and I agree with half-assed graphics in some parts.

Thanks for your opinions.

Best Flash movie I have ever seen. EVER.

Where do I begin? This movie kicks so much ass, it's unbelieveable. I can just tell that every single object drawn in the film was crafted with extraordinary talent, from the beautiful-looking landscapes and backgrounds, from the outstanding character designs, to each and every water droplet seen in the animation.

For those looking for an in-depth story or plot, you don't need one for this movie- it's completely family-friendly. All the other cartoons nowadays have mindless violence or cheap jokes, but Adam Phillips thinks outside the box. Bitey is a great character, and everything else in Brackenwood, like the creatures and such, are simply original and interesting.

Honestly, the overall tone of this movie just makes it feel greatly realistic. The perfection of the blurring effect which created the sense of focus was done very well. Seeing the water droplets' reflections- it's all just incredible. The scoring was superb in this animation, as well- every bit of music fit in just right.

Once again, Waterlollies is most definitely the best Flash movie I have ever viewed- by far. Thanks, to Adam Phillips.

chluaid responds:

Thank you for the review and the score, and thanks for noticing the little things. I've also been passing feedback from here to Nathan McCree so he may see your comments on the music too :)
