Charming

I like it. It's different from traditional Madness, but still brings out the sillyness of it all. The song went along great with the animation, and the art was kept simple and clean. But I have to ask about the part with hotdog guy... You didn't happen to be inspired by my last year's Madness Day submission when you drew him, did you? 'Cause when I first saw him in this one I was like, "Hey, that looks like my hotdog man character in madness day 2007 flash". I don't have a problem with it or anything, just something I noticed :P

Ukinojoe responds:

Oh yeah he's definitely the same hotdog guy! I loved your cartoon with him and I thought he was just so funny looking. I put him in for a silly gag that 5% of people will get and 1% will laugh at.

Slick

There was some really good animation in there. Cool storyline, good artwork, nice sound effects... The only thing that seemed missing was some sort of epic background music- something like that could go well with the animation. Otherwise, great Madness Day flick.

Zwickel responds:

Thanks a lot! I am glad that you liked it!
I may search for some epic music you're right!

Hahaha...

You made both Tom and Krinkels' faces look absolutely hilarious. The lip-sync was great and it added some of the humor. Also, the killing action was awesome, too (minus the guys who just stood there but that didn't really matter, imo). Nice job.

Very impressive

I'm really impressed, LLL. I might have thought that there might have been a little too much color for a zombie-genre flash, but wow... the emotion of the characters, the overall style, and superb choreographical action pulled together really well. I can tell you put a lot of effort into this one. Great job, my friend.

LittleLuckyLink responds:

Hey man, means allot from you.
Gave a bit of a tribute to you with the mustard kill.

Holy hell..

This one was hilarious. MindChamber's was so ridiculously stupid that it made me in tears. And as for the last part? Oh my god. There are plenty of other entries that were also funny, so I claim this collab nothing more than awesome.

Hmm.

For one thing, I really liked the voice acting. The graphics, while I'm not too fond of still give off a humorous touch (i.e. Snake's mouth). Apart from that, a portion of the jokes made me chuckle, so I'd say this Flash is pretty good.

Battosai810 responds:

Sorry the art style didn't appeal to you, but glad you liked the voice acting and the humor!
Thanks for reviewing.

Very nice

I think the highlight of this flash was all the vibrant artwork. It's very freeform and sometimes appears sort of sloppy, but what matters is that the contrast and diversity of the colors and emotion that the visuals brought out.

Brilliant stuff.

Stunning

What's amazing is that the entire speed painting was done (from what it looks like) in Flash. Usually most speed paintings are done in Photoshop or a similar art program, but the amount of detail- shading, filter effects, etc.- put into the artwork is great and a pleasure to watch as the drawing lapses by.

Good work

Home Movies is a great show, and even though this is rather short, the animation, facial expressions, and overall emotion is well portrayed. The visual style is very different from the original series, but that wasn't your goal. Everything else is well executed.

That's it?

The style, wacky animation, and such have a special charming appeal that makes it fun to watch. There could be more of it, though.
